Swati Agarwal-Sinha, MD, FASRS

Dr. Agarwal-Sinha was born and raised in India. She obtained her MD degree from the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. She then completed a clinical retina fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India. After moving to the United States, Dr. Agarwal-Sinha completed retina research fellowship at the University of Florida, followed by Clinical fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and an internship in general surgery at Robert Pack Hospital in Pennsylvania. She worked as a Retina consultant at Sankara Nethralaya, India and later as a pediatric ophthalmologist at the University of Florida and University of Washington. She recently completed another year of surgical retinal fellowship from the University of Washington.

Her clinical and surgical interest focuses on diabetic eye diseases, age related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, retinal detachment, ocular trauma, retinopathy of prematurity, anti-VEGF treatments and lasers treatment in retinal diseases.

Dr. Agarwal-Sinha is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

 Dr Agarwal-Sinha enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, cooking, biking and hiking with her dog.
