Retina Research
Clinical Research at Retina Consultants of Nevada
Retina Specialists of Nevada has a strong, ongoing commitment and vision to develop an exclusive research program. It is a privilege to participate in these promising clinical national studies that can help us integrate best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient care to practice evidence based medicine.
Clinical trial research is the necessary step to transcribe laboratory discoveries into treatments that improve the lives, health and vision of patients. The trials help to determine better approaches for disease prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Clinical trials are always optional. Some people choose to join a clinical trial so they can play a more active role in their own health care, while others are seeking treatment options that are not yet widely available.
Our physicians have participated in clinical trials since 2004. Their research interests include age-related macular degeneration (ARMD), diabetic retinopathy and vascular occlusive diseases. A clinical trial may last 6 months to 2 years.
Feel free to ask your physician if there are any ongoing clinical trials for your condition or contact us at 702-374-2611.
