R. Jeffrey Parker, MD

Dr. Parker was born in Provo, Utah, and raised in Las Vegas. He received his M.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and served his internship at the St. John’s Mercy Medical complex in St. Louis. His residency in General Ophthalmology took place at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he subsequently became an Associate Fellow. Dr. Parker then completed his Vitreoretinal Fellowship and was Assistant Instructor at the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute. Dr. Parker served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Sunrise Hospital from 1989 to 1997 and has served as Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Summerlin Hospital. Dr. Parker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and National Board of Medical Examiners.
